The WA Labor State Conference is the party’s highest decision-making forum, bringing together members and delegates from across Western Australia.
It’s a key moment for members to hear from the party leadership, debate ideas, and engage directly with the party’s future. With contributions from members from local branches, affiliated unions and Members of Parliament, the conference plays a vital role in defining Labor’s values, priorities, and campaigns across the state.

Delegate Registration
All delegates elected at their 2024 AGM have been contacted directly with details on how to register. Please email us at conference@walabor.com.au if you have any questions.
Please note once registered delegates will receive login information to the Delegates Area by COB Friday 24 October 2025.
Attend as an Observer
Party Members
All Party members are welcome to attend State Conference. Members who are not credentialed as delegates are able to register as Observers, and attend to watch proceedings across the weekend. These party members will not be allowed on the conference floor but will be able to view State Conference from the observers area.

Community Observers
People who are not party members may apply to attend State Conference as observers.
These participants will need signed permission of the President, State Secretary or Assistant State Secretary and the name of a sponsor delegate. Observers will not be allowed on the Conference floor but will be able to view State Conference from the observers area during open sessions.

Media
Representatives from local and national media outlets are welcome to attend State Conference for open sessions. A designated area on the conference floor will be reserved for journalists and media crews.
